NEMWA Meeting Agenda for November 7 at
the Sanford Lake Bar and Grille:
Agenda last updated:
02/18/2010
This agenda includes items that are very important to the continued success
of NEMWA. Please prepare for the meeting in advance by doing the following
items prior to the meeting:
- Read the AAU
affiliation information that has been posted on the NEMWA web site.
Ask questions about items you don't understand prior to the meeting.
More discussion on the proposal can be found in the
NEMWA forums.
- Because of the complexity and importance of the proposals being
discussed at this meeting, the basics of
Parliamentary Procedure (Robert's Rules) will be enforced. No side
conversations will be allowed and speakers must be recognized by the meeting
chair before speaking.
- Bring your club dues for the 2004-2005 if you have not paid them
already. In order to be a member in good standing and vote on NEMWA
business, dues must be paid. Dues for returning clubs are $100.
New clubs are $200.
- If your club is hosting a tournament, please bring the contact
information for your tournament director (e-mail and phone number).
- 2:00 - 2:30 Review of 2005 tournament calendar. Fill
open dates, confirm tentative dates and update division pairings if needed.
Collect tournament director names and contact information. As of
02/18/2010 open
dates included January 15 (C&D), January 22 (A&C), and March 6 (NEMWA
qualifier for NEMWA-MYWAY states). While we have two possible Sunday
tournaments the weekend of February 12-13, there are no Saturday tournaments
scheduled that weekend. According to NEMWA rules, clubs hosting
Saturday tournaments have preference over those hosting Sunday tournaments.

alternate proposal described in the
AAU affiliation

be brought to a vote. Cindy Trombly, Governor of the Michigan AAU
